A Note from our Principal

The calendar might say it's spring, but our weather has been so inconsistent lately that it's hard to know what to wear in the morning. Please try and dress you children in layers so that they are warm enough on these chilly mornings yet not too hot as the day warms up.

As the weather warms up, it's easy to begin thinking of summer and our break. But we have several weeks of learning left in the school year. We will be teaching your children until the very end. You can help them learn by making sure they get enough sleep at night, read each day and practice their math & spelling work.

Full Steam Ahead!

Ice Cream Social/Academic Carnival/Kick Off to Summer/BOGO Book Fair
Mark you calendar for Thursday, May 14th, at 3:30 - 5:15. Come join your Fulton family for a fun time of academic activites, information about summer events, our Buy One Get One Free Scholastic Book Fair, and ICE CREAM. We hope to see you all there.

District Update/David Schwartz Night
Fulton School had the priviledge of hosting David Schwartz, author of the How Much is a Million books. A group of our 4th & 5th grade students were able to work with Mr. Schwartz to learn about writing. That event was featured in the lastest Dubuque Community School District's video update. Click Here for a link to that update.

Microsoft Office 2013/O365
Through an agreement with Microsoft, students and staff in the DCSD can get the use of Office 2013/O365 for free. Details are on the District website at Click on the white box that says "Parents". From there click on "Resources", then "Office 365 for Students and Staff". That will take you to the details of how to sign in and access the software. Use of the Microsoft products ends when the relationship with the District ends.
