Out there, on the Mississippi,
In the golden sunlight,
There's a great big steamboat
Glorious in all its might.
It sails on the river,
The waters deep and blue.
Ms. Mac's the captain,
And all the staff are her crew.
The students are the passengers;
They get on board too.
The precious treasure
of knowledge
Is something they all hoard.
The waters may be troubled
But they still get on board.
At every stop,
When they have pains in their heads,
They go home
And go to bed.
Yet every morning,
They all come back and shout,
"Full Steam Ahead!"
And continue on their route.
